The official merger of the Greater Grandville Chamber of Commerce and the Jenison Chamber of Commerce occurred on July 1, 2009. It has now been one year, and it is time to reflect. Who has benefitted from this merger that brought together the best of each chamber?

I was recently reminded that this coming July 1st marks the first anniversary of the combined Grandville Jenison Chamber of Commerce. It’s amazing to me to think that it has ONLY been one year. Chamber Debate a Success - John Teeples, Vice President

Last night's 2nd Congressional District Debate at Jenison High School to replace outgoing Congressman Pete Hoekstra was an overwhelming success. All nine candidates for the office engaged in a very spirited debate of numerous topics, including the merits of the federal government's bailout of the domestic automakers, the use of taxpayer funds to finance economic business development projects, immigration reform and regulations, personal commitments on voting whether to increase income, estate and other taxes and regarding term limits for elected state and congressional offices.
