Leads Groups

WHAT?
The Grandville-Jenison Chamber Referral/Leads Groups are organizations of serious business professionals that have the desire to improve their income by forming relationships with other Chamber members for the purpose of exchanging direct client referrals and leads.

WHY?
The purpose of the meetings is to help members establish relationships and really get to know one another so that they can recognize opportunities to refer business when the occasion presents itself. People would rather do business with a known entity, and providing a referral reduces the risk factor for the buyer because a recommendation carries high value.

HOW?
To be a member of a Leads Group, you must be a member in good standing. Leads Groups follow a non-competing format and are limited to one person per industry and/or profession, with slots being filled on a first come, first served basis. Membership is $50 per year.

Guidelines & General Policies

Leads Resource Group Members must be current members in good standing of the Grandville-Jenison Chamber of Commerce and pay an annual non-refundable fee of $50 to participate.
Each person exclusively represents their line of business/industry within their group and is based on a first come basis (paid).
Participation is based on passing qualified leads, bringing guests, giving testimonials, and attendance. Group statistics for these items can be shared monthly and/or quarterly upon request.
Groups are designed to be ongoing, seats will be held as long as a member is active, maintains his membership, and chooses to remain in the group.
Seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis as application and payment are received.
Membership in the group can be revoked for unethical business practices only upon recommendation of the Leads Networking leaders to the Chamber staff liaison.
The Leads Networking Group and its members will not promote any policy that is in conflict with the policy and procedures of the Chamber.
Attendance Policy—May miss 2 meetings per 6 months. May send an employee or business associate in your place.
